Where’s Dart (3) (lighthouse)?

Where’s Dart? Name the lighthouse. This was a hard picture to take, so I apologize for the quality. I assure you Dart is that little dog at the base of the lighthouse.

Where’s Dart (3)?  Name the lighthouse.  Hint:  It is the easternmost lighthouse in the United States.

After one of our stops on the way up here yesterday, we noticed Dart has something sticky all over his sides. I tried wiping it off with a Wet One but it wasn’t happening. It was like he had been sprayed with adhesive.  We don’t know what it was, but I had to cut off all the hair that was sticky.  Now he is lopsided.  Poor Dart.

We arrived here yesterday in the fog, but the sun is shining today for the summer solstice. Here’s a couple pictures after our foggy arrival.

When we visited the lighthouse, it was around 52 degrees.  At around 8:45 a.m. we started walking on the trail along the coast and came across of couple that was just returning from the “beach”.  The woman had just finished jumping in the ocean to celebrate the summer solstice. The couple had originally come around 5:30 a.m. but left to come back later because it was too chilly.  Brrrr!

We got a couple of short videos of waves crashing on the rocky Maine shore.  Click here and here.

We are boondocking it this week.  We have no external power, water, or sewer.  We also do not have cell phone access in the campground.  When we drive down the road to get cell phone service to set up a hot spot, we have to make sure we don’t get too close to Canada or Verizon tries to charge us roaming charges.
