Linda and Regis Burek are avid nature photographers who have traveled extensively with their motorhome and are now pursuing other means of travel. Their sheltie Dart has accompanied them on their motorhome travels. He is now 11 and slowing down dramatically so he mostly stays home and does his best to keep critters out of the backyard. As a herding dog, he enjoys this job immensely and can spend hours alert for activity. Small birds and animals are allowed, but no mammal bigger than a mouse or crows. Linda and Regis lived in St. Augustine, Florida for 6 years and now live in the Pacific Northwest. Since moving, they have acquired two rough collie puppies. Linda is hoping to train and show them in agility.
Linda and Regis love to highlight the wonders of the world around them by taking photographs and video and packaging them together with words in blog posts. These blog posts begin with their first adventure in 2015 and they continue to the present. They produced four books on their travels across the country (located on the books tab for this website). Linda published a popular bird guide for birds found near water in St. Augustine that can also be found on the book tab on this website.
