Linda and Regis Burek are avid nature photographers who have traveled extensively with their motorhome and are now pursuing other means of travel. Their sheltie Dart has accompanied them on their motorhome travels. He is now 11 and slowing down dramatically so he mostly stays home and does his best to keep critters out of the backyard. As a herding dog, he enjoys this job immensely and can spend hours alert for activity. Small birds and animals are allowed, but no mammal bigger than a mouse or crows.
Linda and Regis explore locally from their home base in St. Augustine, Florida. They take research photographs for the Guana-Tolomato-Matanzas National Estuarine Research Research to document changes in the marsh over time. They highlight the wonders of the world around us. The love to do this by taking photographs and video and wrapping them together with words.
These blog posts begin with their first adventure in 2015 and they update it regularly. They produced four books on their travels across the country (located on the books tab for this website). They sold the motorhome in spring of 2021 and are moving on to other adventures.
