This is a blog about the traveling adventures of Linda and Regis Burek and their dog Dart (8 year old sheltie). In 2015, they traveled across the country in their 5th wheel Heartland Elkridge and towed it with a Ford F350. In 2016, they traded that setup in for a Jayco Seneca motor home and Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk as the dinghy.
In 2015, they traveled from Maryland to Washington State and back. They moved to St. Augustine, Florida in 2015. In 2016, they traveled from Florida to Washington State and back. Their son lives in Seattle. In 2017, they traveled from Florida to Nova Scotia and back. In 2018, they traveled from Florida to Washington State and back. They have been to 45 States and several Canadian Provinces in the last 4 years.
Dart is an active dog. In his younger days, he competed in NADAC agility trials and earned his Novice Versatility title. He lives to play with his flying disc outside or his ball inside, although he is beginning to slow down. His high energy level and intelligence make him a high maintenance but delightful companion.
Highlight pictures from each year’s trips can be found at landrtravels.myportfolio.com.
After this year’s 4+ month camping trip, Linda and Regis decided to put the motorhome up for sale and move on to other adventures. (It’s still for sale if you’re interested. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org) They will keep the blog going. Linda loves to photograph and spends a lot of time taking pictures and learning how to post process those pictures. She recently won the Top 100 in the North American Nature Photographers Association 2018 annual photography contest for an Altered Reality photo.
Linda and Regis hope to hone their photography and videography skills, particularly with natural environments. Linda enjoys pet photography and hopes to do more that.
Linda is working on updating this website to better caption photos on prior blog posts and to post a portfolio. Blog posts prior to June 2016 have been deleted (a mistake that can’t be undone!!).
